Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a packed schedule of new titles dropping this fall, spanning sci-fi adventures, gritty post-apocalyptic landscapes, and even relaxing power-washing simulators. Starting October 23rd, the lineup includes a mix of fresh releases and additions to existing favorites, all accessible through Microsoft’s subscription service.
October Releases: From Mech Battles to Cozy Cleaning
The first wave of games arrives on October 23rd with PowerWash Simulator 2 and Bounty Star. PowerWash Simulator 2 delivers exactly what it promises: a deeper dive into the strangely satisfying world of high-pressure cleaning, now with a furry companion for post-wash petting. Meanwhile, Bounty Star plunges players into the lawless Red Expanse, a post-apocalyptic American Southwest where piloting a customizable mech is the most effective way to take down ruthless bounties.
The following days bring even more variety:
- Super Fantasy Kingdom (Game Preview) – launching October 24th – blends roguelite city-building with frantic monster defense. Players rebuild their shattered kingdom by day and fight off hordes by night.
- Halls of Torment – available October 28th – provides retro, horde survival action reminiscent of Vampire Survivors. Players choose from 11 characters and battle endless waves of enemies.
Flagship Titles: Outer Worlds 2 and Football Manager 26
October 29th marks the release of two major titles: The Outer Worlds 2 and Football Manager 26. The Outer Worlds 2 thrusts players back into the satirical sci-fi universe, tasking them with investigating dangerous rifts threatening humanity. Meanwhile, Football Manager 26 offers an immersive football management experience with official Premier League licenses and women’s football for the first time in the series.
November’s Sci-Fi and Award-Winning Storytelling
The momentum continues into November with 1000xResist on November 4th. This sci-fi adventure, set a thousand years in the future, presents a grim scenario where humanity clings to survival underground, battling an alien occupation. The game has already earned critical acclaim, including a Peabody Award in 2024 and a Nebula Award nomination for Best Game Writing.
Games Leaving Game Pass
As new titles arrive, some games will depart from the service on October 31st: Jusant, Metal Slug Tactics, and Return to Monkey Island. Subscribers should finish their campaigns before these games are removed.
Xbox Game Pass subscriptions start at $10 a month, with the Ultimate tier ($30/month) offering the most extensive library and day-one access to select titles.
